Nathan Ross is an American film and television producer whose work spans Academy Award–winning features and some of HBO's most acclaimed limited series and documentaries. He is a co-founder of the production company Crazyrose, formed with the late director Jean-Marc Vallée, and of Lily Rose Productions. Before producing, he was a talent agent at ICM Partners from 2003 to 2010, and he serves on the board of the Palm Springs International Film Festival & Society.
Emmy Honors
Critical Incident: Death at the Border (2025)
As an executive producer, Ross won the Emmy for Outstanding Investigative Documentary at the 2026 News & Documentary Emmy Awards for this HBO documentary, directed by Rick Rowley, which re-examines the 2010 death of Anastasio Hernández Rojas at the U.S.–Mexico border. The film was also a Peabody Award nominee. It marked Ross's second Emmy.
Big Little Lies (2017)
Ross was an executive producer on HBO's Big Little Lies, which won Outstanding Limited Series at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards — eight Emmys in all — and four Golden Globes. His first Emmy.
